Founders & CEO
Richard & Barbara Smith
Richard & Barbara, aka Bossman and Bosslady, started Cannaverse in 2022. After serving his country, Richard wanted to serve the community of Las Cruces with quality cannabis at great prices. Richard & Barbara have two sons and 3 grandchildren and love spending time with them when they can. When he's not traveling as an MRI tech, Richard loves spending time at the store and getting to know his customers. You might catch both owners on the pickleball courts playing a friendly game with one another.
General Manager
Thalia Loyola
Thalia started at Cannaverse as a Budtender quickly working her way up to Keyholder and then to General Manager. Growing up in Las Cruces as a local Thalia enjoys helping her community with all their cannabis needs. Keep an eye out for Thalia in town, she's typically seen dancing at bars and raging at raves. Thalia encourages all to say Hello, she typically has discount flyers she hands out at events. You can usually find Thalia working diligently to help keep the shop running.
Assistant Manager
Jorge calzadillas
Jorge started at Cannaverse as a budtender and worked his way up to production manager. Jorge loves serving his customers and helping them find the exact product they need. He also likes to joke around with his co-workers. Jorge enjoys spending his time with his family when he's not at the shop.
Head Grower
Julio hidalgo
Julio has been with Cannaverse since it's inception and has been growing excellent cannabis for Cannaverse. Julio takes his grow very seriously and gives the time and care to his plants. In his free time, Julio likes to enjoy the product of his creations.

Lance ivy
Lance has been with Cannaverse for 2 years. He helps Julio with the grow and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to cannabis. You can always find Lance tending to his plants at Cannaverse. Lance enjoys spending time with his wife, Leigh Ann, and their son, and riding his motorcycle any chance he gets.

Nicholas Garcia
Nick brings his calm demeanor and strong communication skills to create a welcoming experience for customers. Nick is a laid-back and easygoing person who truly values the simple things in life especially time spent with his two kids. Being a hands-on and present dad is important to him, and he enjoys making the most of those moments together. He has a strong passion for cars, whether it’s admiring builds, talking shop, or attending car shows whenever he gets the chance. Social by nature, Nick enjoys striking up conversations and connecting with people, making him someone others find approachable and easy to talk to.

Rachael Gallosa
Rachael's favorite method of consumption is edibles, as she has a low tolerance when it comes to smoking. Cannaverse drinks seem to be one of her go too favorites as they allow her easy consumption whenever. Rachael loves spending time with her family, being the life of the party. Rachael's high energy leads all customer leaving with a smile on their face after their visit. Watch out for Rachael when the beat drops, she might challenge you to a dance off.
